About the Presentation
Business owner, coach, and consultant are roles—and every role exists in relationship with other people. Those relationships come with legitimate responsibilities, yet high-capacity service providers can unknowingly add expectations until everything begins to feel like theirs to carry.
In this practical 15-minute session, attendees will recognize where over-carrying may already be shaping how they serve clients, manage opportunities, make decisions, and grow their businesses. They will explore one simple distinction: What actually belongs to my role and accountability, and what am I assuming I have to carry?
Using that question, attendees will examine one area of their business and consider what may need to be owned, questioned, communicated, or changed before they scale it.
Scaling can multiply revenue, reach, and impact—but without awareness, it can also multiply the expectations and over-responsibility already consuming your capacity.

About Elle Jaye
Elle Jaye is a professional woman, speaker, facilitator, strategist, and host of Evolving With Elle: When Capable Women Carry Too Much on the Inspired Speaker Network. Her work creates space for high-capacity women to examine the roles they carry, distinguish responsibility from expectation, and recognize the invisible rules that can turn capability into over-carrying.
Elle brings nearly 30 years of professional experience across healthcare, higher education, municipal government, and nonprofit organizations. Throughout her career, she has seen patterns, made sense of complexity, improved how systems work, and brought people and information together toward a result. Her work has included creating process improvements, analyzing and synthesizing data, implementing strategies, managing people, and collaborating with third-party partners.
She has also spoken at women’s leadership, business, and personal-development events; hosted more than 21 expert interviews for the Thriving Beyond Divorce Summit; co-hosted interviews and panel discussions at summits and conferences; and has been recognized as a finalist in multiple speaking competitions, including a Top 4 finish at The Speaker Colosseum.
Drawing from professional and lived experience, continued study, and facilitated conversations, Elle’s expanding body of work explores roles, relationships, responsibility, expectation, and Cor Essence™—the heart of who a woman knows herself to be beneath the roles she carries.
